Welcome
to fishyworld in 2007
Its been a long time since new content has been added to this site. For
that I am sorry, but I have simply been too busy with work and getting married
to Karen (finally)to be able to make any new content…
However now I am slowly but surely finding time again and have been putting
ideas down on paper. Some of the ideas include maybe making a few videos,
a fishing report blog, and a complete redesign of the site to make it even
easier to view so here is hoping I can manage that J
I started fishing again this year at the start of June and have been to
various places mainly in the evenings, I have been to Skanderborg Lake,
a local lake after carp, and Langsø at Silkeborg. Unfortunately Skanderborg
Lake is once again a no producer with no one really catching anything, only
a few roach if you are lucky. Everyone I have seen down there this year
so far (there are still a few) that have travelled from England and Holland
are once again disappointed.
One thing that annoys is the fact that Anglers World Holidays in England
are still selling Denmark as a bag up country. While that maybe true in
some parts of the country on other lakes, Skanderborg is still on their
list, it should be removed, or the text reworded in my opinion. At the end
of the day they are there to sell holidays of course, but a little honesty
goes a long way when it comes to sales :) (speaking from personal experience
here). Silkeborg lakes and parts of the Gudenå have been producing
some Bream according to reports and Horsens lakes have also been producing
Bream so there is still some to come after. Skanderborg however, is probably
worth bypassing entirely unless something drastic happens in the next few
weeks (which is unlikely)
Over the coming weeks I shall be visiting more waters including Horsens,
Viborg lakes, Møssø and other Silkeborg lakes, of course I
shall keep you reported as to what happens…
If you are coming to Denmark soon then why not email me and I shall give
you what information I know about what is being caught. I visit Skanderborg
and Silkeborg areas at least once a week and if I see anyone fishing, I
ask them how they are doing…
